Membership
As per UFRC guidelines we allow a new walking member up to 2 "free" walks before joining the club - but after this they must become a member. A Membership Form can be downloaded here, filled in and brought to the next scheduled walk. As we are affiliated to the UFRC each member benefits from Third Party Insurance and club discount. Our membership year runs from 1st February to 31st January and annual fees are £20/€25 per person.
All members have the opportunity to suggest a walk that they would like added to the schedule, be it an old favourite or a new challenge, and all suggestions are included in the itinerary at some stage throughout the year.
We hold a barbecue walk in the summer and a Mince Pie and Mulled Wine walk at Christmas.
Walks are advertised on this site weekly and only change due to exceptional circumstances on the day, e.g. weather.
